大阪のブルースピアニスト。
地元の大阪・塚本を拠点にライブ活動やセッションホストを行っている。
1999年、アメリカ・シカゴの名門ブルースクラブ「キングストンマインズ」のセッションに参加。ホストの女性ミュージシャンが熱意をもってセッションを切り盛りする姿に多大なる影響を受けて帰国する。
地元にブルースセッションを広めようと、2000年より大阪・塚本ハウリンバーにて「第一金曜日ブルースセッション」をスタート。
開始当時のホストバンドメンバーから「ハウリンYOU娘（ユウコ）」と呼ばれるようになったのが名前の由来である。
A blues pianist based in Tsukamoto, Osaka, who actively performs live and hosts jam sessions.
In 1999, she participated in a session at the legendary Chicago blues club "Kingston Mines." Deeply inspired by how the female host musician enthnsiastically led the session, she returned to Japan with a vision.
Driven to spread the blues session culture in her hometown, she launched the "First Friday Blues Session" at Tsukamoto Howlin' Bar in 2000.
Her stage name, "Howlin' Yuuko" was affectionately given to her by the original host band members when the session first began.

Barber Nakanishi (MC)
一金セッションの案内役で、時々ボーカルやサックスも演奏する。
本業は名前の通り理容師で、大阪のディープウエスト・西淀川区に店を構え、地域住人から親しまれている。
彼のユニークなトークと、温厚な人柄には、参加者も癒やされ、イベントの和やかな空気を作っている。
He serves as the main MC for the session, and occasionally treats the audience to his own vocals and saxophone performances.
True to his nickname "Barber Nakanishi," his main job is running a barbershop in Nishiyodogawa—the deep west of Osaka—where he is dearly loved by the locals.
His unique sense of humor and warm, gentle personality put everyone at ease, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for the whole event.
